Fall trend: Knee high boots

Hi readers! I’m so sorry I have been M.I.A. lately.  Life has been insanely busy this summer, and it’s finally starting to slow down.  I’m really hoping to start regularly posting for my blog and making it a priority.  Sometimes I get so caught up in life that I lose my focus on my goals and dreams.  I fell prey to that this summer but am looking to change that going into this fall.  Speaking of fall…

With the fall transition about to be upon us, I have found a new fall staple that everyone should have to transition summer pieces to the fall:  Knee high boots.

Knee high boots can be worn with it all.  Shorts, dresses, skirts, rompers…you name it. They can be dressed up or down and worn for any occasion.  Here are three outfit ideas that shows how knee high boots can make your fall fashion transition so much easier.

With shorts and a kimono

Trade in your summer sandals for some boots once the temperature starts to drop.  Kimonos are one of summer’s hottest trends, but it’s hard to find ways to wear them throughout the fall.  Knee high boots paired with a neutral kimono and shorts perfectly transition this summer trend into fall.

With a t-shirt dress and blanket scarf

Take your favorite summer T-shirt dress and wear it into next season! Throw on this easy outfit for Saturday brunch, or just running errands this fall.  Knee high boots paired with a blanket scarf give a cozy look to this outfit and will keep you warm on the chilly fall days ahead.

With a romper

Adding knee high, black boots to a simple black romper add some sass for a hot date night outfit, or a girls’ night out. They help your legs look miles long and really dress up your favorite summertime romper.

There’s still plenty of summer left, but I can’t help but get excited for fall fashion.  Thanks for reading everyone and look out for my next post! I promise I’ll be better ;).  Please leave comments/suggestions below of how you would wear this trend and what you think of it.
