It’s (almost) Blanket Scarf Season!

Happy Labor Day everyone! I hope you spent your weekend making amazing memories with your family and friends.  I spent mine celebrating a wedding, and out on the Wisconsin River with friends! But back to reality…Fall is quickly approaching and this post is centered around one of my favorite fall trends:  blanket scarves.

With summer coming to a close and fall approaching, I’ve got cozy looks, soft fabrics, and layered styles on my mind.   Blanket scarves are a great addition to your favorite lightweight sweater, long sleeve dress, or fall tunics to add a relaxed feel to your outfit.  Not only do they look super cute, but they also keep your neck and face super warm! I love fashion with a double purpose! You can also style them many different ways.  See a few examples of how I like to wear them below!

Handkerchief style:  Fold blanket scarf into a triangle.  Wrap the two ends of the long side around your neck and tie underneath the point of the triangle!

Wrap around style:  This is how you typically wear a scarf!  Fold the blanket scarf into a “loose” triangle.  Wrap both ends on the long side around your neck to hang loose (don’t tie!).

Infinity style:  Fold scarf into a triangle, and roll the triangle loosely to make one long strip.  Wrap around your neck and tuck in the ends to hide them to give an infinity style look.

There are so many different colors and styles out right now.  You can find a blanket scarf to fit any color scheme you want.  I honestly just go on Google Shopping and search “‘color’ Blanket Scarf” of whatever I’m looking for, and wha-lah!

Writing this post is getting me really excited for the leaves to change.  Fall is my favorite season after all!! I hope you guys enjoyed this post!  Thanks so much for reading.  Comment below with your favorite way to tie a blanket scarf!
