Summer to Fall Concert Style

Happy Tuesday!  Today I’m dropping by to show you guys some fun summer to fall concert style.  I actually wore this outfit this past summer to Milwaukee’s largest music festival, Summerfest.  I ended up seeing A Day to Remember with Josh and Zac Brown Band with some old college friends.  As you can probably tell, I love all genres of music (from rock, to hip hop, to pop, to country)!

This look was so much fun to shoot, and what I love about it is it’s perfect for those early fall concerts before the weather gets too cold.  I don’t know about you, but in the Midwest it’s actually been pretty warm yet this fall.  Definitely not complaining that I don’t have to put my summer shorts away yet.

What I love about this tank, is that it’s such a simple piece and comfortable piece, but also makes a huge statement.  The high-low detailing of this tank top is so fun and unique.  I was asked where I got this from multiple people during the show.  It’s from one of my favorites, Express.  They always kill it when it comes to versatile fashion with a little edge to it.  Unfortunately it’s sold out, but there is an exact dupe for only $20!

The best this about this tank/shorts combo?  That you can completely change up the look of it by just wearing different shoes or accessorizing a little bit differently.  I wanted to keep the rocker vibe going, since I wore this to A Day to Remember, so I chose to style this look with fun silver accents.  I pulled out my favorite guitar pick necklace (definitely fit the vibe) and my edgy silver ear cuff that I’ve had forever and it really helped pull the look together!

Here are some other ways to accessorize for different types of concerts:

Hopefully that helped you visualize ways to personalize a look like this to your taste!  The other thing that makes a huge difference in the overall look and feel of your outfit is your shoe choice.  Now, I love being comfortable at concerts, so wearing my Sanuk Yoga Slings was a absolute must.  Usually my go to is a cute pair of booties, but it was actually super hot that day so I wanted something to allow my feet to breathe!  I definitely recommend these shoes.  They are padded with actual yoga mat material so your foot sinks in comfortable to meet your arch!  I love them and can wear them all day long/stand up in them without being sore.
What concerts are you going to this fall?  Comment below and I’d help you find the perfect outfit. 😉

    1. Thanks Megan! What’s cool about it is each necklace was made special by a woman who’s husband was in a band. She saved his guitar picks to make jewelry!
