Take 3 Looks from Work to Play

Guys! I am so excited about this post.  I partnered with Elizabeth Izzo (a friend/coworker of mine and budding photographer) to get some professional photos for my posts!  She’s super talented and her work truly speaks for itself.  I had so much fun shooting with her.  You’ll be seeing  a lot more of her stuff in posts to come. 🙂

Versitility is so important to me in my wardrobe.  Especially being a young professional, a lot of times my closet can feel so split between work and going out outfits.  Recently I’ve decided to challenge myself and figure out ways to combine my closet.

Today I’m going to share with you three ways to instantly transform the look and feel of your work outfit by changing only one piece.  When you know you’re going to be in a hurry on Friday night or need to pull a later day at work, you can just throw these pieces in your car to avoid wasting any time during your precious weekend/free time hours!

Look One:  Switch out a blazer with a leather jacket with your favorite work dress.  Adding a leather jacket takes this look from a professional to  edgy for a flirty date night outfit.

Look Two:  Take your casual Friday pants and switch them out for ripped jeans.  Pair both of these bottoms with a flowy, chiffon blouse to quick take a look from the office building to happy hour ready.

Look Three:  Switching out pumps for black thigh high boots adds a sexy and fun tone to dress up your plain black work dress for a girls night out.

I’d love to get your thoughts and to hear stories of what you guys do to save time getting ready! Thanks for reading!

♥ Leah
